Top 5 HomeAgain Reunion
Stories of 2010

Reuniting lost pets with their families is by far the best part of being a pet recovery service. There’s nothing better than hearing the excitement, joy, and relief in someone’s voice when they’ve just been told their pet is safe and waiting to come back home.

2010 was a great year for reunions, and we’d like to share that happiness with you. Here are our top five reunion stories for last year, in no particular order.

  • A “Rocky” Reunion – What do you do when your best friend disappears just as hunting season opens? Stay calm and rely on your wits, like Rocky’s owners, and you may just be reunited before you know it.

  • Losing a Pet Brings Out the Crazy in You – This story shows us the great lengths we humans will go to when our best, four-legged friends are lost. See the world through the “crazy” eyes of Shiloh’s owner, as she uses every available resource to find her lost cat.

  • Bishop Returns Home after 2 Months – Meet Bishop, Texas Chiweenie, with a bad habit of taking off in the middle of the night. In this charming reunion video, Bishop’s owners recount the tale of his disappearance and homecoming.

  • Reunited after 18 Months Apart – What’s worse than having your dog go missing? Having your dog go missing and having to move cross country before he’s found. Luckily for Zen’s owner, HomeAgain operates a national database and can easily connect found pets with their owners from coast to coast.

  • Collar Failure, HomeAgain Success – When it comes to the things you hold dear, having a back-up safety plan should be your rule of paw. This story illustrates just how easy it is for one little thing to go wrong, and how seamlessly HomeAgain can step in and make it right.

We hope you enjoy these reunion stories and encourage you to share your tales with us, too. Submit your story and upload a photo to show off how cute your pet is. Or make your pet a star in their own reunion video —seeing happy pets safe at home makes us smile!
